NYC Planners Mingle in Midtown & Form New Partnerships With Suppliers at VIP Networking Event
New, long lasting partnerships are built every day on Reposite and it’s extremely rewarding to be able to see those formed at our events face to face! Our NYC based members joined us for a VIP networking event to meet fellow event professionals and a few of our favorite suppliers in the city, Fifty Sonesta Select and Empire Steakhouse.
We began with a presentation of the Sonesta Hotels brand at their midtown location. The Fifty Sonesta Select Hotel is a boutique hotel that offers expansive rooms and is known for having larger, more apartment style. At Fifty Sonesta Select Hotel, the goal is to make you feel right at home while visiting NYC. The boutique hotel is defined by its timeless modern architecture, artistically appointed interior décor, spacious spaces with residential amenities. The hotel’s eclectic room accommodations are suited for family gatherings and fitted like a business-ready living room — a place to meet, relax, and regroup in Midtown East. Our planners toured the rooms and the penthouse with it's incredible wrap around deck and views!
We especially loved that our planners were able to meet the team behind the Sonesta brand and make those connections face-to-face. These are the types of connections we are so passionate about making both online and off at Reposite.
After our private tour we skipped next door to the Empire Steakhouse for a happy hour. We were welcomed to their elegant bar area perfect for small private happy hours, birthdays and other celebrations. The gorgeous dining room with chandelier and incredible decor was a perfect background. We explored their private upstairs space with it’s own bar, booths and accommodates larger private groups. Our planners are getting into holiday party planning so it was the perfect time to check out the space for consideration.
We ended with an exciting raffle with one of our planners winning Travel Points to the Award Winning Sonesta Rewards Program for a one night stay anywhere in the country in addition to the US open tickets! We are so pleased to have such a wonderful planning community in NYC and across the world. Planners were able to log on to their Reposite profiles just after the event to connect with their new supplier friends and even put through their RFP’s for upcoming events!
